You Are Never Alone

It was just another day. I was going through my normal daily routine without a single clue of what would happen. That was the day that the world that I knew would come crashing down all around me leaving a mark engraved in my heart forever.

In those moments of learning truths, I questioned God and why he allowed this to happen to me. In my mind, it was His fault! He could have stopped it. He’s God after all.

Why would he ever allow such a thing to happen to me. I did everything right. I followed the rules and now this is what I get?? None of it made any sense to me and that is when I began to drift from him.

At the time, I felt that the best way to cope was to just allow myself to become numb. Every day was a challenge. I couldn’t get out of bed and I couldn’t even find joy in the things I once loved to do.  It was all too much for me to understand.

Why was I left carrying this burden ALONE. I couldn’t understand and was so confused how God could let this happen. Notice a trend here? I kept blaming God.

The thing is, I had it all wrong. We all have been in situations or will be in situations where we feel alone, hurt, or betrayed.  We all will go through times of disappointment, pain, or sadness.

There will be things that will be unfair and the people that hurt us are actually looked upon with favorable eyes while you are left wondering, “How is that even possible?”

But the key to these unplanned and unfavorable moments in life is how we handle them.

Do you allow it to consume you or do you allow it to let you grow?

God gave each of us this amazing gift of life.  He also gave us free will. We have the power to make our own choices and decisions. Outcomes are an accumulation of the choices we make.

So the next time you are in a negative situation, seek him. Talk to him. At first it may seem weird or silly, but try to do it daily. Your life will unfold before you in a way you never thought possible.

God loves each and every one of us and He also has plan. A plan that runs on His time.

Sometimes, we have to go through deep lows of darkness in order to understand the value of the light.

Never forget that in this life you will experience joy, pain, happiness, sadness, disappointments and triumphs. All of which are gifts. It’s all part of His master plan that we may not understand fully.

Within each of us lives an incredible light. That when we let go and embrace ALL that comes our way, we can go forth and shine that light bright onto others.

It’s with God that we are never truly alone and we always have someone there to listen and to help navigate us through this journey .

You are never alone.
